We went home and asked our parents that are farmers why they think your wheat is turning yellow. We think that because you planted so many seeds in a pot, the roots are getting all tangled up. It's like they are choking each other. Our wheat plants are turning yellow too, and we only planted a few seeds in the pot. We taken ours home to put in the ground, so hopefully the roots will spread out and stop hurting each other.
Can you think of some things that might hurt our plants now that they are in the ground and have lots of room to grow?

We hope you have good luck with your wheat plants. The KinderKids enjoyed seeing how fast the wheat can grow. We cut it many times and then took it home as spring baskets.
